What "No thumbnail found" means

This message means YouTube did not return any thumbnails for that video.

It does not mean:

  • The tool is broken
  • Your account is limited
  • You need Pro

Checklist

  • Is the video public?
  • Is the URL correct?
  • Is the video older than a few minutes?

If all answers are yes, then YouTube simply doesn't have a thumbnail for that video.

Common Causes

Invalid Video ID

The URL might be malformed or contain an invalid video ID.

Fix: Double-check the URL. Copy it directly from YouTube's address bar.

Private or Deleted Video

Private videos and deleted videos don't have accessible thumbnails.

Fix: Unfortunately, there's no workaround. The video must be public.

Age-Restricted Content

Some age-restricted videos have limited thumbnail availability.

Fix: Some resolutions may still be unavailable even with workarounds.

Still Not Working?
